animation + illustration

The United Nations did a Call For Artists during the Covid-19 epidemic of 2020. They asked for artists and animators over all mediums to help in an effort to raise awareness. I gladly joined in the effort by working on a concept, storyboards, animation, and music, all on my own to create this beautifully illustrated submission. The voiceover was done by Nicole Whyche Huffman and copy was written by  Chris Minesinger.

​I was inspired by the Italian opera singer who serenaded his neighborhood during quarantine. There is an unspoken sense of community that comes from social distancing, and I tried to capture that in my piece.
